2023: Year in Review
The end of the year has a way of creeping up on us, doesn’t it? Just as we’ve finally settled into a new fall rhythm, we realize the holidays are upon us. I adore the holidays, particularly because it allows us to reflect on the highs and the lows of the last 12 months.
For my private practice, the start of 2023 was a busy one. Signing a 5-year lease on an office space and completing a custom build-out was daunting.
While stressful, the outcome was well worth it and I couldn’t be happier in my new space! It’s spacious, bright, cozy (I did buy an office pair of slippers after all) and most importantly, it’s welcoming! It really does feel like my home away from home and I hope my families feel the same way.
This year marks 4 years in private practice and I still pinch myself thinking about how fortunate I am to be a pediatric private practice owner. It’s a privilege supporting kiddos in achieving their communication milestones both big and small.
I have the opportunity to work with the sweetest kiddos and their parents, collaborate with incredibly knowledgeable related service providers (e.g., ABA therapists, occupational therapists), and connect with the best schools in the neighborhood. It’s not lost on me how lucky I am to do this as my job day in and day out.
Thank you for continuing to support me - I’m excited for 2024 and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for my clients and #annaospeech.
Wishing you a happy and healthy holiday season!
Cheers,
Anna
